Jens H. Quistgaard (b. Copenhagen 1919, d. 2008)

Rectangular solid oak dining table with inclined legs, under top slanted bars with special brass fittings and eight belonging armchairs with brown leather. Model no. 540 and 530. Designed 1964–65. Manufactured by Nissen Langå. H. 71. L. 189.5. W. 93.5 cm. (9)

Provenance: Family of Nissen, Langå. Limited production due to lack of demand.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use. Minor marks and scratches. A few drying cracks in the joints in the solid oak table top. Intact leather in the seat, dirty, but easy to clean. The solid oak top is put together with wooden wedges. The table is prepared for extra leaves at each end, these extra leaves doet not exist. All brass mountings in good and intact condition. The condition is in general good.
