“Gold Hill Chair”. A solid rosewood folding stool with black leather seat. Model PH 41. Made by Poul Hundevad, Vamdrup with paper label.

CITES-certificate included.

Literature: Mobilia 1957.

Replica of bronze age stool found in a grave outside Vamdrup in Jutland dated 1300 B.C. and thus the oldest preserved piece of furniture in Scandinavia. The original stool is in the collection of the National Museum of Denmark.

Condition

Frame with few minor scratches. Patinated leather with scratches, stains and crackles.

Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
