Louis Majorelle (b. Toul 1859, d. Nancy 1926)

Art nouveau two-tier of mahogany, mounted on profiled sweeping legs. Top with raised edges and underlying shelf with brass handles decorated with inlaid marquetry in the shape of flowers and leaves. Circa 1900. H. 81 cm. L. 74./96 cm. W. 48./57 cm.

Loose assemblings. Faded wood. Minor defects on marquetry. Moreover normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks.
