A pair of Blue Fluted porcelain ice domes with dishes, decorated in underglaze blue. Pierced domes with leaves. Domes painter signed for Raben Svardalyhn 1779–1814 and his son J.M. Svardalyhn 1797–1816. The dishes signed for Friderich Gregorius Schaltz 1780–1837 and Hans Jacob Hansen 1779–1819. Royal Danish Porcelain Factory. C. 1810. H. 28.5 cm. (2)

The ice domes originate from the manor of Tomb in Oesterfeld, Norway. They probably were made and came to Norway as part of a large Blue Fluted set c. 1810 for Prime Minister Mathias Otto Leth Sommerhielm, who in that period lived at Tomb.
