Thorvald Bindesbøll (b. Copenhagen 1846, d. s.p. 1908)

Fish serving spade of silver, modelled with art nouveau ornamentation in relief. Stamped monogram TB and H. Kyster. Weight 105 gr. L. 25,3 cm.

Holger Kyster was working as a silversmith for Thorvald Bindesbøll in the period 1904–1908.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use including surface marks and scratches. Edge of spade head “bent”/ with dent.
