A pair of 14k brooches with Russian circles in which the Russian mitre crown set with rosecut diamonds and cabochoncut sapphires. Originally, the circles were mounted as a pair of Russian cufflinks. Apparently no maker's mark (presumably they were on the cufflinks' chains or hangers). In original case from A. D. Ivanoff, St. Petersburg. (3).
Provenance: Present to a member of owner's family, who worked at Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen, from a member of the Russian Imperial family, who then visited Denmark and stayed at the hotel.
