Furthermore on the reverse of the frame a label marked inventory no. “Klitgaarden 7”. Oil on canvas. 40×56 cm.
“Klitgaarden” was King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine of Denmark's summer residence near Skagen.
Exhibition: Charlottenborg 1911 no. 294.
Provenance: Descendant of King Frederik VIII of Denmark (1843–1912) until today.
