A Danish giltwood and white painted furniture set, consisting of an oval table with grey marble top and eight chairs of which two with armrests. Table and one chair marked crowned monogram CA for Christian X and Queen Alexandrine. Late 19th century. Table H. 75 cm. W. 150 cm. D. 98 cm. (9)

The furniture was part of princess Alexandrine of Mecklenburg-Schwerin's dowry, when she married prince Christian (X) of Denmark April 26th 1898 in Cannes.

Provenance: Descendants of Frederik VIII (1843–1912) until today.
