Gustav Friederich Hetsch, after: “Dolphin” magnificent porcelain vase, decorated in colours and gold with prospect from Nyborg and beach scenery, painter signature O for E. Orth, in cartouches on turquoise ground, the neck of the vase adorned with crowned monogram for Frederik VIII and Queen Lovisa, below war attributes and inscription, sides with the Danish and Swedish coat of arms, base with medallion and text “1869–28. Provenance: Silver wedding present to Frederik VIII and Queen Lovisa of Denmark on July 28th 1894. Hereafter, descendants of Frederik VIII (1843–1912) until today.
