A fine Georgian? 19th century qama dagger with gilded mounts. The hilt is carved from a single piece of black horn with gilded mounts. The double edged blade with two fullers on each side is c. 32,5 cm long finely inlaid with gold koftgari work on both sides of the ricasso. The wooden scabbard is covered in faded red velvet and the iron mounts are decorated en suite with the hilt. On the back of the scabbard a small knife.
