Thorvald Bindesbøll (b. Copenhagen 1846, d. s.p. 1908)

A pair of earthenware vases with wavy top rim. Decorated with slightly metallic, green glaze and scratched ornamentation. Signed monogram TB 1901. Unique. H. 27,3 cm.

Given by Th. Bindesbøll to the Hertz family for whom he also designed silver holloware.

Condition

Chips and numerous repairs.
