Finn Juhl, attributed (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989)

A pair of lacquered cherry wood armchairs, back, seat and loose cushion upholstered with green wool. Natural leather edgings. Variation of “FJ 45” with additional cross bars between the front legs and back legs. Made by unknown cabinetmaker. (2)

Provenance: Seier-Petersen collection, Aarhus. Bought in 1970s.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use. Minor marks and scratches. Cover fabric over webbing under cushion is missing. Dry latex webbing, in need of replacement.
