A woman in a folk costume. Indistinct signature, dated 1856. Oil on canvas laid on cardboard. 32×20 cm.

It is suggested that the painting is signed C. L. Petersen for Carl Ludvig Petersen (1824–1900).

Condition

Minimal peelings, crackles, marks and retouches. Tear in canvas at the right frame edge.
