Rectangular Brazilian rosewood box. Lid top with copper inlay decorated with polychrome enamel. Interior with adjustable space divider. Made and stamped by Alfred Klitgaard, Denmark. Unique. H. 6 cm. W. 15 cm. L. 30 cm.

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks and minor chips on front of lid's rim. Reverse side of lid with small metal plaque inscribed “SWISS regnskab AS 19–8-1976”.

Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
