Tanagra style terracotta figurine of woman, dressed in chiton/dress and himation/mantle Greece, 3rd century. H. 17,5 cm.
Provenance: From a collection acquired a. o. on a trip to Italy in the mid 19th century, by doctor Michael Frederik Christian Lund (1826–1907), nephew of the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. The collection has been in the family's ownership since then.
Condition
Wear due to age and use. Repaired. Original hole in back with few chips.
