Russian silverplated pocket watch, black enamel dial, signed Pavel Bure, with Arabian numerals and subsidiary seconds, dust cover signed Pavel Bure, no. 235831. 1909. Works engraved with Cyrillic letters PU. Case diam. 51 mm.

Provenance: According to seller's information Tsar Nicholas II of Russia had a doctor named Paul Werner von Dresden and that he got the present watch from the Tsar. Paul Werner von Dresden emigrated to Denmark during the Russian revolution. The doctor was oncle to seller's mother.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Broken hinge at duct cover. The works is “over winded”. We do not guarantee for the functionality.
