A large Napoleon III gilt an patinated bronze figural mantel clock with white enamel dial. France, mid 19th century. H. 70 cm. W. 47 cm. D. 27 cm.
The figure is most likely the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V (1500–1558) who lived his last two years in a Spanish monastery.
Condition
No guarantee of the function of the clock work. Wear due to age and use. Pendulum is enclosed.
