A lady's wristwatch of sterling silver. Mechanical movement with manual winding. White porcelain dial with black hands and hourmarkers. Winding crown of brass. Watch diameter app. 29 mm. Circa 1914–18.
This watch has UK silver hallmark as well as Wilsdorf & Davis (W&D) stamp in the case back. Alfred Davis was Hans Wilsdorf's brother in law and co-founder of Rolex in London in 1905, when it was a watch import company. Caseback and movement signed Rolex.
The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality. Wear due to age and use.
