Hans J. Wegner (b. Tønder 1914, d. Gentofte 2007)

Aarhus City Hall beech cabinet with roll front, mahogany handle and base. Interior with 30 pull-out trays and two pullout leaves. First production of the later model no. B5230. Manufactured by Planmøbel. Circa 1941. H. 141. W. 93. D. 41 cm.

Provenance: Aarhus City Hall. Metal plaque with inventory no. A d1a9, 34.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use. Minor marks and scratches. Veneer damage on the base, on both sides, at the back. On the left side eight minors holes, each app. 2–3 mm.
