“Portex”. A set of six beech armchairs. Seat and back upholstered with patinated natural leather. Designed 1945. Manufactured approx. 1950s by Fritz Hansen. (6)

Condition

Patina due to age and use. Frames with several scratches and marks, mainly at lower part of legs. Joints generally loose and chairs somewhat “rickety”. One armrest with crack at the attachment to the rear leg (please see photos). Original, patinated upholstery with stains, differences to shade/color, marks and scratches and few light cracks.
