A Chinese six-leaf wooden screen with resp. laquer and gilt carved wood panels depicting scholars worshipping Buddha, bats and longevities, Qing 19th/20th century. Each leaf 126×24 cm.

Provenance: Einer Bothmann Mengel, 1878–1945.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Laquer panels chipped and crackled.
