Eva Stæhr-Nielsen (b. Frederiksberg 1911, d. 1976)

Large stoneware vase modelled with fluted pattern in relief. Decorated with dark brown glaze with green and reddish brown elements. Sign. E.St.N. Made and marked by Saxbo, Denmark. Made 1950–1958. H. 26 cm.

Patina due to age and use including surface scratches and marks. Several chips along the base rim including two larger ones. Small bursted glaze bubbles originating from the making. The inside with limescale.
