A very rare, solid Oregon pine flat file cabinet. Front with nine drawers, each with two handles of plywood. Frame of black lacquered metal. Made circa 1986 by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmakers, Copenhagen, with paper label. H. 95 cm. W. 106 cm. D. 75 cm.
Bottom of drawers are led through the solid Oregon pine fronts and carved to form the handles.
Designed for the School of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts. The flat file solid Oregon pine cabinet was reserved for use by professors only.
