Coins under the hammer

Need something to cheer you up in the biting cold of February? Then cast an eye over the array of treats at this week’s coin auction at Bruun Rasmussen.
From 3 pm on Sunday 12 February, the virtual hammer will be falling on 365 lots of coins, medals and bank notes. You can start bidding now or wait until Sunday and follow the auction as it rolls across the screen. The lots are wide-ranging, but antique coins are especially abundant, and they will be joined by a number of older English and German coins. The auction will also feature beautiful suites of Danish vintage coins and a rarely offered set of gold medals. As usual, the preview takes place at Baltikavej 10 in Copenhagen’s Nordhavn on Friday 10 February from 10am - 3:30pm.
