Step into a veritable treasury at the spring auction at Bredgade! The highlight is a collection of unique diamond jewellery which comes from the bankruptcy estate of IT Factory and Stein Bagger, and is being sold at the request of the Attorney General.
Diamonds have always been a source of fascination. Each individual diamond is like a miniature work of art, with its own unique play of colour and life. And no other precious stone is as fabled as the diamond! At Bruun Rasmussen, we sell a lot of enchanting diamonds, but diamonds of this calibre are rarely seen on the Danish market. We are therefore delighted that the Attorney General has entrusted us with the task of selling this collection of extravagant diamond jewellery. Infinite brillianceOne of the collection’s absolute highlights is a ring with an incredibly rare natural yellow diamond. It is known as a fancy yellow radiant cut diamond and probably originates from South Africa. The cut, radiant cut, is characterised by its infinite brilliance, which shimmers in the diamond’s 70 facets. It is close to being the ultimate cut, as the rectangular cut and numerous facets, top and bottom, sparkle far more than other diamond cuts. The auction’s sparkling yellow diamond of approx. 8.00 carat is flanked by two half-moon cut and countless smaller brilliant-cut diamonds, which accentuate and intensify the infinite brilliance of the ring. Classic eleganceBut the collection’s sophisticated jewellery doesn’t end there! One of them is an elegant emerald-cut diamond ring from Hartmanns in Copenhagen. The emerald-cut ring is very classic and, with its 58 facets, has a simple and clean-cut look. The featured emerald-cut diamond of just over 5.00 carat is flanked by two trapeze-cut diamonds, which complete the stylish ring. In addition to the two rings, there is an impressive necklace with the collection’s largest round, brilliant-cut diamond of approx. 13.00 carat. This cut is extremely popular as it is timeless and yet has a fine brilliance. The exclusive jewellery collection also features a pink gold ring with brilliant-cut diamonds, an eternity ring with countless princess-cut diamonds, two Shamballa necklaces with matching bracelets and several pairs of beautiful diamond stud earrings and an elegant diamond-encrusted Rolex ladies’ wristwatch. Other wonderful piecesThe spring auction also features fine jewellery from international jewellery houses and Copenhagen jewellers as well as a number of exclusive wristwatches. We will be opening the doors to the preview at Bredgade 33 in Copenhagen from 22 February until 27 February. All are welcome! You will have the opportunity to view and even try on the jewellery up for auction. The auction itself will be held at 5 pm on Thursday 1 March.
