A Danish Rococo Amager silver-gilt vinaigrette “hovedvandsæg”, heart-shaped body, hinged cover with two doves holding a crown, lower part pricked with owner's initials ELD, oval base with balm-hide and two standing lions. Maker Claus Brun Alberts, Copenhagen 1797–1840. Weight 54 g. H. 9.5 cm.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age, including minor worn gilding plus few marks and scratches on exterior bottom.
