The Danish artist Vibeke Nødskov (b. 1961) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland and a MD from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Design & Architecture. Working as art director and graphic designer in Denmark and abroad for many years Nødskov has now moved into an experimental artistic field debuting at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2022 with 3 pieces. Combining natural materials and found or disregarded objects images and narratives are created using embroidery, knitting or silk screen. Nødskov’s work has a simplicity and a Nordic aesthetic – and comes with an invitation to reflect.
Examined in frame. Original condition. The frames is of solid oak and museums glass.
The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
