A good 19th century Kindjal with a walrus hilt in a scabbard decorated with nielloed silver rosettes and collar - probably Dagestan. The double edged blade with a single off-set fuller on each side is c. 38 cm long marked with a small makers mark on one side. The wooden scabbard is covered in black leather decorated with two large nielloed silver mounts.
